Sorlunio · Wardrobe trials

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026
Last updated: October 27, 2026

1. Scope and operator

This policy describes how the Sorlunio iPhone application handles information. Sorlunio is a personal wardrobe trial tool that helps you set clothes aside for a period, record observations, and decide what to keep. It applies to the application and related support pages, not to Apple’s own services or an external destination you choose when exporting.

Sorlunio does not require an email address, phone number, or password to use core features. The app creates a pseudonymous device identity so private records can be synchronized and restored. There is no hosted community and no advertising system in the app.

2. Information you choose to add

You may create trial questions and rules, selected garments, storage labels, placement and take-back events, observation gaps, decisions and corrections. You may add clothing photos, chosen library images, spoken reasons, and manual time markers linking a recording to a garment. A display nickname and portrait you choose for personal use in the app may also be stored with your preferences.

Entries may contain personal details if you choose to put them there; avoid unnecessary sensitive information and recordings of others. The current version does not offer coins, subscriptions, paid unlocks, or in-app purchases. Available practice guides are provided without charge.

3. Why the information is used

Your records and media are used to display your trial, preserve what you observed, play recordings you made, support your own review, and create an export or backup you request. Manual garment markers identify where to replay; they do not transcribe or interpret your voice.

Wardrobe content is not used for advertising, face analysis, profiling, or sale to another organization.

4. Device permissions and choices

Camera: requested when you choose to photograph a trial garment or storage place. A preview lets you cancel before saving. You can use a written description instead.

Photos: read access is limited to the scope you grant, including a limited selection. You choose which images to copy into a trial. Saving a review image is a separate action and can use add-only authorization. Refusing access leaves written entries and, where authorized, camera use and Files exports available.

Microphone: requested when you choose to record spoken clothing reasons. Recording shows a visible state, allows stopping, and requires confirmation before keeping the clip. Text is an alternative. Background recording and automatic transcription are not part of the app.

Optional local notification permission, if offered, is separate. A reminder is not evidence that you completed an observation. You can change permissions in device Settings.

5. Storage, access and security

Trial records and confirmed media are first kept in the application’s on-device storage with platform protection. When connectivity is available, private structured records are synchronized to the Sorlunio service under a pseudonymous device identity. Selected photos and voice notes may be uploaded to Cloudflare R2 so they can be restored with those records. Records are private to that identity and are not published as a social profile.

The service uses a team-operated Open Platform for authentication and structured records, and Cloudflare infrastructure for media storage and static legal or demonstration files. Device access controls, network security, and your backup settings affect who can access copies. No system can be promised completely secure.

A backup you save in Files, an image you keep in Photos, or a system device backup may be handled by the destination or device services under their own settings and policies.

6. Sharing and other providers

You may choose particular records and media to export, share, or back up. A preview should show what will leave the app. Your chosen destination and recipient then control their copies. Sorlunio does not publish your trials, automatically contact another person, or send records to a donation or resale service.

There is no sale of personal data. Any new external processing would require a fresh disclosure and the permissions or choices applicable to it.

7. Retention, correction and deletion

You control how long to keep trials and media, with individual deletion, trial deletion, and a delete-account option in the app. Delete account removes local records and requests deletion of the associated private structured backup. Corrections to trial events remain understandable while the trial is retained. Cancelling an unconfirmed capture discards the temporary file.

The current client does not have a direct R2 object-deletion API. Media objects that are no longer referenced require an operator-side deletion process and may remain for a limited operational period. Removing the application alone does not send a deletion request. Copies already saved in Photos, Files, device backups, or with a recipient are controlled separately.

8. Your controls and privacy requests

Controls include viewing and editing records, deleting selected content, selecting exports, and limiting or refusing permissions. Where applicable law provides additional access, correction, deletion, objection, or complaint rights, you may exercise them through the Sorlunio Support feedback channel.

Most use of your wardrobe content is automated. Support staff should not request private photos or recordings merely to answer a question. Where a privacy request cannot be completed in the app, use the contact channel listed with Sorlunio in the App Store and include no unnecessary wardrobe content.

9. Intended audience and changes

Sorlunio is for adults managing their own clothing. It is not designed for children or for collecting information about them. Do not add another person’s identifiable images or voice without an appropriate basis.

We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Product implementation, store privacy disclosures, and this policy should remain consistent.

10. Contact and related terms

Operator: Sorlunio. Privacy and product questions may be submitted through the contact channel listed with Sorlunio in the App Store. Do not send unnecessary personal data in a request.

Use of the app is also described in the Terms of Service. Apple and any export destination provide their own privacy information for their services.
